London City Airport expects busy December

London City Airport is expecting another big Christmas despite the credit crunch. The docklands airport is also celebrating being awarded best UK airport in the Buying Business Travel awards last week.
Spokeswoman Rupa Haria said: ‘December is usually a busy month for us with leisure travellers and skiers taking advantage of our routes, so we are expecting good passenger numbers. Our figures have stayed level on last year so we should get the same number of passengers as last year.’
