London City Airport appoints Miligan for retail review
07.11.07
Retail specialist Milligan has been appointed by London City Airport to produce a strategic plan for its growth in time for the Olympic Games in 2012. The company will undertake a six-month strategic review 'to explore future opportunities' and 'meet the anticipated increase in passenger demand.'
A spokesman for Milligan said: 'We are still at the very early stages of our work, but it is already clear to us that efficiency and speed are the number one requirement and indeed the main reason why London City Airport has built a loyal and growing customer base. The building is now twenty years old and needs modification to cope with the increased demand that has resulted from the success of London as a world financial centre and in particular from the growth of Canary Wharf.'
