Liverpool Airport car park and hotel given go ahead

Plans for a three-star hotel and multi-storey car-park at Liverpool Airport have been approved by the city council.
The short stay multi-storey will have parking on five levels and a six-storey hotel will be built on top. Special features will include a large video screen on the hotel exterior which will be used to display images to highlight arts events.
The construction of the £25m project is expected to take 18 months.
