Leeds Bradford seek bids for terminal extension

Leeds Bradford Airport has invited bids for the expansion of its existing terminal building in a contract expected to be worth around £22.5 million. The work will include construction of a two-storey extension as well as remodelling areas within the existing building.
The new building will accommodate retail and concourse space on the ground floor with a new departure lounge, retail and food outlets on the first floor. Work is expected to take one year and up to six firms will be short listed for the job. Interested parties have until 15 December to submit tenders.
