Ryanair launch Leeds Bradford - Shannon flights

Ryanair launched new flights from Leeds Bradford Airport to Shannon in Ireland this week, as part of a big expansion from the Irish hub. The new service will operate three times a week, adding to its 19 weekly services between the Yorkshire airport and the Irish capital, Dublin.
Sally Ramsey, marketing and business development manager at Leeds Bradford, said: 'This new service to Shannon is fantastic news and confirms Ryanair's commitment to growth from Leeds Bradford Airport. The addition of Shannon means our passengers now have the choice of six entry points when travelling to Ireland from the heart of Yorkshire.'
Ryanair launched eight new routes from the Irish hub this week. The new Leeds Bradford route will bring the total number of its passengers using the airport to 300,000 a year.
