Views sought on Leeds Bradford Airport congestion

People are being asked for their views on several congestion-busting schemes including plans for a new rail link to Leeds Bradford Airport.
In May a report by consultants Arup revealed that a light rail link to the airport using state-of-the-art tram-trains would be feasible at a cost of between £17m and £25m. The proposed airport link would join the Harrogate line, providing a direct connection from the airport to Leeds city centre.
From Wednesday, November 12, to Saturday, November 15, Metro and Leeds City Council will be interviewing people in the city about the airport plan and other schemes included in the New generation Transport initiative.
