Ryanair launch Leeds Bradford – Girona flights

Ryanair launched a new scheduled service to Girona, the gateway to the Costa Brava, from Leeds Bradford Airport yesterday. This service offers holidaymakers access to a number of sunshine resorts, as well as the city break hotspot of Barcelona and the Pyrenees mountains on the border between France and Spain.
Flights to Girona, which will operate four times a week, will complement another new Ryanair route to Alicante launching on October 28.
Tony Hallwood, Leeds Bradford Airport's commercial aviation development director, said: ‘We are delighted to see the start of these new services with Ryanair. Their popularity is testament to the huge demand for low-cost air travel in Yorkshire and it is fantastic to see Ryanair developing their range of international services from Leeds Bradford.'
