Big jump in Kent Airport freight again

Manston’s Kent Airport processed 3,086 tonnes of freight during September, more than double the volume handled during the same month last year. For the half year cargo volumes were 16,331 tonnes, an increase of 89% on the the pervious year.
In September British Airways also used the airport for crew training for their newly acquired Airbus 318 aircraft. This is now operating direct flights from London City Airport to New York.
