Kent Airport makes £4m loss

Manston’s Kent International Airport has filed accounts showing losses of £4 million for the last financial year. And numbers flying from the airport are not expected to increase this year, making a loss likely.
A spokesman for Infratil, which owns the airport, confirmed that the slumping economy had hit airport plans to boost passenger numbers. However, he said that he was confident about the airports future.
