Jersey Airport director to stay
05.10.08
The director of Jersey Airport, Julian Green, has said he will remain in his job despite an earlier announcement he would be leaving for personal reasons. His change of heart has been welcomed by civic and business leaders.
Assistant Minister for Economic Development, Alan Maclean, said he was glad Mr Green was staying at a time when airlines were in turmoil. He said: ‘I can think of no-one better than Julian Green to see us through this difficult period.'
Mr Green moved to the island from Australia in the spring of 2006. New routes have been added and renovations have been carried out to the departure lounge during his time running the airport.
