IOM Airport optimistic on passenger numbers

The Isle of Man airport may be over the worst in terms of falling passengers numbers, director Ann Reynolds has said.
Figures released by the airport show that 8,470 fewer passengers travelled in May compared with the same period in 2008. But Ms Reynolds said she believed the figures were ‘bottoming out’ and that airlines were optimistic about a rise in passenger numbers to and from the airport later in 2009.
