Isle of Man Airport security jobs safe

The company that will take over the security contract at Isle of Man Airport has confirmed it plans to offer jobs to all 28 employees currently employed as security staff at the hub. The announcement was made by Belfast-based Resource Group, which is due to begin a five-year contract on October 1.
A spokesman for Resource Group said its deal meant 'an enhanced overall employment package' for existing staff, while revealing it intends to recruit new employees within the Island. She said: 'We plan to offer all existing staff the opportunity to work with Resource, and have begun the process of meeting with staff both collectively and on a one to one basis,' she said.
