Problem for Humberside Airport bound plane

A light aircraft was forced to change its landing destination yesterday afternoon after running into difficulties. The plane was due to land at Humberside Airport but diverted to Binbrook Airfield, near Louth where it landed safely.
Humberside Fire and Rescue service were called at 14:50 after the difficulties were reported but crews were not required at the scene. A Humberside Airport spokeswoman said the aircraft was not based at the hub.
