BA teams up with Dorchester hotel to offer afternoon tea

British Airways is teaming up with the Dorchester Hotel to revive a piece of its history - afternoon tea. In the 1940s, BA served an afternoon tea on its Stratocruiser aircraft that flew across the Atlantic, taking 20 hours to reach the US.
From August travelers lucky enough to be flying first class to the US with the airline will enjoy a formal afternoon tea featuring traditional sandwiches, cakes and teas from around the world, as offered at the Dorchester.
