Critic praises Gordon Ramsay’s T5 restaurant
29.04.08
A food critic praised Gordon Ramsay’s Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 restaurant over the weekend. The Telegraph’s Jasper Gerard said that the food at is the best he’s had at an airport, 'even if getting through security to dine is more Hell’s Airport than Hell’s Kitchen'.
The positive review comes after fellow critic Francios Simon panned the restaurant in the French Le Figaro newspaper, and several English critics criticised the food and the restaurant's prices. And if that wasn't bad enough, it restaurant will face competition from a Brasserie Roux at the Sofitel Heathrow - the giant hotel attached to the terminal - when it opens in June.
Lets hope the Telegraph review is a turning point, as the food and the prices at his other restaurants are both excellent.
