28.09.11
British Airways has exercised options to buy two more Boeing 777-300ER long-range planes. They will be delivered in 2013, with the two-plane order worth $568 million at list prices.
The 777-300ER takes 365 passengers in a typical multi-class configuration, with a range of more than 9,100 miles. BA already operates six of the planes, and is currently looking to replace its 55 Boeing 747 jumbo jets.
