OpenSkies switch from JFK to Newark
25.12.09
OpenSkies, the British Airways transatlantic business-class-only subsidiary, is pulling out of John F. Kennedy International Airport next month and will operate both of its New York - Paris daily round-trip flights out of Newark Liberty International Airport.
Currently the airline operates one round-trip daily to Orly Airport in Paris from JFK and one from Newark. The change is effective from January 4. A spokesman for the airline said: ‘Newark is actually the closest to Manhattan proper. It's the most direct and easiest way to get to Manhattan.’
