Heathrow flights hit by fog again today

Heathrow passengers face disruption again this morning, with flights hit by fog for the third time this week. By 09:00 18 flights - nine arrivals and nine departures - had been cancelled, with more likely to follow after air traffic controllers placed restrictions on flight movements at the hub.
The airport expects conditions to improve from 11:00. Heathrow and London City airports were also disrupted on Sunday and Monday due to fog, with hundreds of flights cancelled and delayed.
