American joins BA in boosting Heathrow – New York flights

American Airlines has joined partner BA in announcing an increase in flights between Heathrow and New York JFK next year. Flights will increase from 11 to 13 on March 25, when the airlines launch their summer schedule, with one extra daily flight from American in addition to the extra flight from BA announced earlier this week.
The news was announced as BA, American and Iberia celebrated the first anniversary of their transatlantic joint ventures and outlined the next steps of their partnership. Tickets for the new flights are already on sale.
