Sick crew member sees Virgin Heathrow flight land in Ireland

A transatlantic jet was been to divert to Shannon Airport yesterday after one of the crew became ill.
The Virgin Atlantic flight, which was travelling from Boston to Heathrow landed at Shannon at 06:20 after the female flight attendant complained of feeling unwell. She was transferred to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick with suspected appendicitis.
