Heathrow – Taipei flights announced

The first non-stop flights between London and Taipei, Taiwan are to be launched at the end of the month by China Airlines. The three times a week service will take off from March 28 with the carrier using an Airbus A340 on the route offering 30 seats in business class and 246 in economy.
The new route is the first time that the UK has been connected by a non-stop service to Taiwan, and return fares are from £370. Departing Taipei each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 09:25 and arriving at Heathrow at 17:05, the Taipei bound flight will depart at 21:15 (22:05 Thursday) and arrive at 18:15 (19:05 Friday) the following day.
