Gulf Air has signed a three-year shirt sponsorship deal with Championship football club QPR. The Bahrain-based airline's branding will feature on all the club's team kit.
The agreement, for an undisclosed sum, will also see the introduction of a Gulf Air supporter loyalty scheme, the possibility of a football community scouting programme in the Middle East and various community-based initiatives in Bahrain and London.
The airline is the latest travel company to become involved in football sponsorship in the UK at various levels following the likes of Thomas Cook at Manchester City, Emirates at Arsenal and Air Asia at Manchester United.
