The new Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5 hotel will offer six food and beverage apprenticeships at its grand opening next month. The hotel company has joined forces with several educational establishments to offer four kitchen, and two front-of-house applicants the opportunity of a lifetime working with a renowned chef.
The hotel's signature restaurant Mr Todiwala's Kitchen, will be opened and run by Cyrus Todiwala, who will provide guidance and support to the chosen apprentices, alongside executive chef Paul Danabie. The chosen apprentices will take a three year NVQ course at West London University, resulting in a Academy of Culinary Arts (ACA) Diploma Examination in Professional Cookery, while front-of-house trainees will be trained by the Academy of Food & Wine Service (AFWS).
Caroline Lowe, director of human resources at the new airport hotel, said: ‘We are committed to discovering and training the best talent in hospitality, and are delighted to be offering these exciting apprenticeship opportunities. Investing in our team members is a key focus for us and we are currently recruiting the best possible team to work in our new upscale Hilton Hotel.'
