Air Canada to debut ‘quick drop-off’ at Heathrow

Passengers flying with Air Canada from Heathrow Airport will soon be able to check-in, tag their own bags and drop-off them off at designated counters. The Canadian airline has received approval from the Department for Transport to start offering its ‘Quick Drop-off’, said to take less than 30 seconds, at the UK's busiest airport.
The system allows passengers flying from Heathrow Terminal 3 to use kiosk check-in and self-tagging options with bag drop-off at designated counters. Passengers at Toronto and Vancouver airports already have the option of using ‘Quick Drop-off’.
