Bag with £800,000 worth of cocaine abandoned at Heathrow

An unclaimed bag containing 20 kgs of cocaine worth £800,000 has been found on a Heathrow Airport luggage carousel. UK Border Agency (UKBA) officers discovered the haul when they were alerted to an abandoned suitcase at the airport on Friday, but only released the information today.
The bag arrived on a flight from Mexico. The case has been passed to HM Revenue and Customs investigators, who have not yet identified a passenger for the baggage. A spokesman said that ‘investigations are ongoing.’
