Virgin exits Virgin Nigeria

The Virgin brand name is to be removed from Nigeria's national airline Virgin Nigeria, and it will sell its 49% stake in the company. Virgin's sell-off marks the final closure of an increasingly acrimonious deal, announced in a great fanfare, 5 years ago.
An unnamed Virgin source told Reuters news agency the Nigerian airline would have until early July to rebrand itself. Virgin Nigeria could not immediately be reached for comment.
