Heathrow launch advertising campaign; expect record summer

Heathrow Airport has launched an advertising campaign to target the 9.2 million families and leisure passengers set to pass through the hub during what it expects will be a record summer. More than 13.6 million passengers are expected to pass through Heathrow during July and August, with Sunday July 31 predicted to be the busiest day on record with an estimated 246,020 passengers.
The new advertising campaign aims to raise awareness of Heathrow’s ‘family-friendly’ services and facilities for people leaving the country, and also promote its retail offering and the savings that can be made by buying at the airport. It will include the airport's first ever multi-lingual advertisements, that will highlight the savings available at the airport compared to the capital’s West End stores.
The campaign will feature in underground stations of popular tourist shopping destinations and will be printed in Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Russian and Japanese. It will also be seen on hundreds of London taxis as well as outdoor sites on the route into London.
