Virgin Heathrow lounge wins award

Virgin Atlantic Heathrow Clubhouse picked up an award from V-Flyer.com, a website created and maintained by customers of Virgin’s global travel companies, for the third year running. The Heathrow Clubhouse was cited by passengers as a ‘haven away from the hustle of the main terminal’, and ‘truly the only way to start a flight.’
A spokesman for the airline said that the improvements Virgin have made to Terminal 3 over the last year 'resonate with passengers'. These include the new Upper Class Wing, which gives a route from kerbside to Clubhouse in around 10 minutes. Inside the Clubhouse, passengers have access to a selection of complimentary menus, beverages and full spa facilities.
