BA to boost Saudi Arabia flights this winter
04.07.11
British Airways will increase its frequency between Heathrow and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this winter from five times a week to six, using a Boeing 777. The aircraft will offer a choice of four cabins. The additional flight will take off when the airline launches its winter schedule at the end of October.
The increase in schedule means that, together with its five services a week from Jeddah, BA will operate a total of 11 weekly flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this winter. Paolo De Renzis, Regional Commercial Manager Middle East said: ‘Last month marked two years since we resumed flights to the Kingdom, during which time we have enjoyed strong demand for seats in all cabins. The need for an additional service to Riyadh is a clear indication that demand continues to grow and we are delighted to announce this additional service re-affirming our long term commitment to the market’.
