Suspect package closed Guernsey Airport

Guernsey Airport was closed for nearly an hour yesterday morning after a suspect package was found. The item was found on board a plane at 07:30.
The Police Bomb Disposal Unit were called to the airport and declared the package safe. The airport was re-opened at 08:20. The main disruption caused by the closure was the diversion to Jersey of Flybe's inbound plane from Exeter.
