Glasgow airport plane fire accused in court
28.06.08
A man accused of setting a plane on fire at Glasgow Airport appeared at the High Court yesterday. Safet Bukoshi, 35, described as a prisoner in Greenock, made no plea during a 10-minute appearance before Lord Mackay of Drumadoon.
It is alleged that on January 22, 2005, Mr Bukoshi entered a restricted zone at the airport and damaged a British Midlands plane by setting fire to it with petrol. The case was continued until next month for psychiatric reports and Mr Bukoshi was remanded back to prison.
