US Airways boost Glasgow – Philadelphia flights

US Airways has announced it will extend its summer schedule from Glasgow Airport, increasing flights to Philadelphia from 280 flights to 334, the Evening Times reports. This will add five weeks to the service.
US Airways has run a service between the two cities for seven years. The increase in flights has been hailed as a vote of confidence in Glasgow as a top-flight UK holiday destination. The extra flights also mean passengers from Scotland will be able to make more use of domestic US flight connections from Philadelphia, which offers onward flights to Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Florida and San Francisco.
