Glasgow gains new summer French flights

Glasgow Airport has landed new summer routes after a holiday company announced plans to launch direct flights to three French cities. France Travel Services, which is part of the Stewart Travel Group, is to offer flight-only and holiday packages to Nantes, Lyon and Paris.
The holiday company expects to carry more than 10,000 passengers on the routes this year. They weekly flights will start on 16 May, will run throughout the summer season, and will be the first time Glasgow has been linked directly to Nantes and Lyon.
