19.01.10
Charter airline Kiss Flights is to launch flights from Glasgow Airport, replacing some of the capacity lost following the collapse of FlyGlobespan. Kiss, which already operates from eight UK airports outside Scotland having launched just last year following the collapse of charter airline XL, will be offering 12 summer routes to Mediterranean destinations from April.
The new routes from Glasgow Airport will include flights to summer sun destinations in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. A spokesman said flights will be operated on behalf of Kiss by Swedish carrier Viking Airlines, using a Boeing 737 aircraft. Director Paul Moss said: ‘Kiss Flights are enjoying a period of strong growth and we are delighted to be able to offer these flights from Glasgow.
