New Pakistan flights from Glasgow Airport

A reader pointed us to something on the ‘Featured Destinations’ page of the Glasgow Airport website – the the airport is to gain flights to Lahore and Faisalabad from next month. The routes are new to Scotland and we have not seen anything in the press about them.
According the website, ‘Pakistan International Airlines is to launch new weekly flights to Lahore and Faisalabad from Glasgow, building on the strong cultural and commercial ties between Scotland and Pakistan. Weekly flights commence 2 April with PIA.’
