Loganair to operate Sunday Glasgow – Barra / Tiree flights this summer

Loganair is to operate the first regular Sunday flights to Barra and Tiree from Glasgow Airport this summer, the Press & Journal reports. The airline, which operates its scheduled services under a franchise agreement with Flybe, will operate the new flights between July 3 and August 28. Tickets are now available for booking from the Flybe website.
The new Sunday services are in addition to the Monday to Saturday flights on the Glasgow-Tiree and Glasgow - Barra routes. Both services are timed to provide excellent connections via Glasgow to UK regional and London-bound services operated by Flybe and Loganair’s codeshare partner BA. Loganair is undertaking the new service at its own commercial risk and will receive no additional subsidy.
