New Glasgow Airport hotel opened

The 103-bedroom Purple Hotel has had a makeover and reopened yesterday as the Campanile Hotel Glasgow Airport. Campanile is a budget brand belonging to the Louvre Hotel Group.
New general manger Alan Deller, who was previously at the Campanile Hotel in Swindon, said the new property was an economy hotel with a difference. He said: ‘It has a distinct personality and, unusually for this style of operation, a truly great restaurant on site serving delicious French-inspired seasonal menus and buffets.’
