Emergency landing for Zoom Glasgow flight in Canada

A Zoom flight from Glasgow Airport carrying 140 passengers made an emergency landing in Toronto yesterday. The plane landed successfully at Pearson International Airport on Friday afternoon after sending a distress signal about a blown tire, local police said.
Fire, police and ambulance units were waiting at the staging section of the busy Toronto airport for the plane, arriving from Glasgow Airport. The Boeing 747 landed at 12:45 local time (17.45 UK time). No injuries were reported.
Zoom airlines operates low-fare flights between Canada, the United States, the UK and Paris.
