Jet2 is to add five new routes to Spain from Glasgow Airport next summer. The airline will fly to Barcelona, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Malaga and Murcia, with flights to Malaga, Barcelona and Murcia taking off in March and flights to Ibiza and Lanzarote starting May.
The airline has also put flights for next year to its most popular destinations, Alicante, Faro, Majorca and Tenerife, on sale already. It will boost to seats to the first three by 20% next summer, while adding an additional service to Tenerife.
Jet2 Managing director Ian Doubtfire said: ‘In just two months since we started flying from our newest base at Glasgow Airport we have launched five new routes and also increased capacity to some of our most popular destinations. This demonstrates how committed we are to growing the range of great value destinations we offer to customers from Glasgow and the west of Scotland.'
