Bus crash near Gatwick causes traffic problems

The driver of a bus has been cut free from his vehicle after it collided with a tanker on a road at Gatwick Airport. The accident happened just after 06:00 this morning on the A23 in West Sussex, blocking the Perimeter Road East at the Gatwick Road roundabout.
There were no passengers on board the bus, and the driver had been taken to hospital suffering from minor leg injuries. The crash involved a tanker carrying non-hazardous liquid.
