Gatwick MacDonalds manager on sex charges

A 26-year-old MacDonalds restaurant manager at Gatwick Airport has been accused of sexually assaulting women, the BBC reports. David Hartwell, 26, of Rookwood Avenue, New Malden, south London, appeared Crawley Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Mr Hartwell is charged with 16 offences against five women between September 2009 and August last year. The charges follow an investigation by detectives based at the airport. He did not enter a plea and is due to appear in court before Mid Sussex magistrates on 7 October
