Gatwick Airport expects a 6% increase in passenger numbers this school half-term, with Malaga the most popular destination. 550,000 passengers will be leaving Britain from its terminals over the holiday.
A spokesman for Gatwick said: ‘The combination of the spring bank holiday and school half-term offers great opportunities for families to enjoy some quality time together.' The top ten holiday destinations from Gatwick this half-term are: Malaga, Palma de Majorca, Dublin, Faro, Dalaman, Madrid, Alicante, Orlando, Edinburgh and Jersey.
