Cosmo available from airport vending machines
27.03.08
Monthly women’s magazine Cosmopolitan will be the first magazine to be distributed via vending machines at UK airports in a new initiative targeting airline passengers. Readers will be able to purchase the magazine in a travel size at the departure gates at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports from today in a three month trial.
Justine Southall, publishing director at Cosmopolitan, said: ‘Purchasing a magazine to read on the plane or on holiday is a ritual for many women. By including Cosmopolitan in these vending machines, we are offering an additional innovative distribution method and extending accessibility to our readers and potential new consumers.’
