Seville becomes Ryanair’s 44th base
23.07.10
Ryanair will launch new flights to Seville from Gatwick this winter when it establishes its 44th base in the southern Spanish city. The low-cost airline will base two aircraft in Seville, allowing it to launch ten new routes from this winter.
In addition to Gatwick, flights to Bari, Paris, Eindhoven, Santiago, Valencia, Marseille, Venice and Palma will take off when Ryanair's Seville base is established in November. In total, Ryanair will operate more than 250 weekly return flights to and from Seville, increasing its passenger traffic at the airport to 1.5 million a year.
Stephen McNamara, Ryanair's head of communications, said the airline was ‘delighted’ to be establishing its eighth Spanish base.
