Branson book among the top 10 left on Virgin flights
23.01.12
Sir Richard Branson is one of the top 10 authors whose books are left behind by passengers travelling on Virgin Atlantic aircraft. In a survey by the airline's cabin crew of books left in passengers' seat back pocket, the airline president's Screw Business as Usual was in eighth place. The majority of the other nine reads to top the chart were celebrity autobiographies and travel related books.
The most regularly discarded book at 35,000 feet was Lord Sugar's The Way I See It: Rants, Revelations and Rules for Life. In second place was Glorious: My World, Football and Me by Paul Gascoigne, followed in third place by glamour model Katie Price's Santa Baby.
All books, and other items, left onboard Virgin planes can be collected by passengers at the destination airport lost property office.
