Thomas Cook, MyTravel and First Choice top for delays

Three of Britain's biggest tour operators have been named and shamed for having the worst UK airport delays, the Mirror reports. Passengers flying with Thomas Cook, MyTravel and First Choice airlines had a one in 10 chance of being held up last year, the newspaper reports that figures from the CAA show.
The CAA revealed tat 15% of flights - some 4,267 flights - with Thomas Cook Airlines (trading as MyTravel) were delayed for more than an hour at UK airports in 2008. First Choice Airlines had 811 flights (13.5%) and Thomas Cook had 356 flights (12.5%) delayed by more than an hour.
The worst offender for delays last year was Air India with one in five hit. Other airlines with poor punctuality included Eurocypria, with 18% of flights affected and Qantas with 16% of flights hit.
