Two awards for BA Gatwick – Caribbean flights

British Airways has received two awards at the prestigious St Lucia Awards for flights to the island from Gatwick. At the St Lucia Tourist Board awards evening at Vinopolis, London, BA was named Tour Operator with the largest growth to St Lucia and also received a special recognition award for ‘Commitment to St Lucia 2010’.
This summer BA has increased flights from Gatwick to St Lucia from five to seven a week. With a 30 percent increase in capacity to the region compared to the previous year, the airline now offers more seats to the Caribbean from the UK than any other carrier.
