Virgin tool allows passengers to share travel tips in flight

Virgin Atlantic has unveiled a new system that allows passengers to share travel tips during flights. The Travel Tip Catcher, part of the airline's VTravelled community travel website, allows passengers to view destination hints and tips from their seatback entertainment system on some flights.
Users can select their type of travel - including business travellers, adventure seekers, luxury lovers - and their destination to see hints and tips submitted by fellow passengers. There is also the opportunity to submit tips themselves.
The system is currently available on two of the airline's planes operating from Manchester and Gatwick airports, but will be rolled out as deliveries of the new A330-300 continue over the next two years.
