easyJet launch Gatwick – Izmir flights

easyJet has launched a new route linking Gatwick to Izmir, a popular holiday destination on Turkey's Aegean coast. The flights will operate twice a week - each Saturday and Tuesday - over the summer season.
The budget airline now operates services to a total of 92 destinations from Gatwick, with five new routes introduced this year. A spokesman for easyJet said: 'Turkey is a popular holiday destination for sun-seekers. By adding Izmir to our network of routes, we are making it even more accessible to passengers. As one of the most popular tourist cities in the country, it is a perfect holiday choice.'
