Brussels Airlines switch flights from Gatwick to Heathrow

Brussels Airlines flights to the Belgian capital are to be switched from Gatwick to Heathrow. The airline has stepped in to replace flights from Heathrow to Brussels axed by fellow Lufthansa subsidiary BMI from January 9.
The Belgian airline will run four flights a day to Brussels from Heathrow starting on January 10 using as mix of Boeing 737, Airbus A319 and Avro RJ aircraft. Network executive vice-president Erik Follett said: ‘By switching our service to London Heathrow, we can give our passengers a better service, including better connections to our Star Alliance partner networks flying out of Heathrow.’
